Community ContentAdding content such as ratings, reviews and photos is a great way to share your experiences with the OS Maps community.

In this guide, we’ll look at how you can add star ratings, written reviews and photos to routes to help share your experience and expertise of a certain route, helping the OS Maps community understand more about routes before they head out.

3. Tap on write a review to add your written review. Highlighting particular features, points of interest or conditions of the route are great things to share with other users. You will also be asked to add a star rating, out of 5 to the route.

Photo & Review

4. As well as writing a review, you can also add photos of the route to share with the OS Maps community. Simply tap ‘add photos’ and follow the instructions to add your photo to the route.

Note, when you add your content to OS Maps, it must meet the User Generated Content guidelines as outlined in our End User Licence Agreement. This highlights what is deemed acceptable content within OS Maps, and any content that doesn't meet these terms may be removed.

5. You can remove any reviews and photos that you have added by selecting your review and tapping the ‘…’ icon and selecting ‘Delete review’. It is only possible to delete your own reviews and photos, not those uploaded by other users.

6. If you come across any content within OS Maps that you believe is inappropriate or doesn’t meet our guidelines, you can report it by following the same instructions as above, on any review or photo supported by another user.
